i LOVE these pictures individually.
The problem is, if i look at them as a set of pictures, the girl seems to have the same pose in every single picture. Only the background changes, the girl seems to stay the same. I don't know if anyone else notices this, or maybe I'm just too tired ;p
exactly my thoughts...also a bit overuse of the T/S for my taste
I feel like the T/S effect makes her lower half look unnecessarily 'large'. She seems like a thin girl, the blur doesn't show her figure. #4 thou, stunning.
It doesn't really feel like you visualized anything, and then tried to execute your plan. It feels more like your relying on TRA f/zero to save the day. Whether or not it's IC or PP, it just feels that way to me. It also just looks like a lot of crops served up as different photos. (ie. same angle).
Just an honest crit. I saw your name and expected much more.

Shots taken and posted=large sales?
...so, all of the senior shots he takes/posts = a big ruse? He isn't profiting, just taking snaps of his friends, trying to put one over on FM for..er..fun? ()?
I'm hardly a huge fan of the style serg shoots at times, but hot damn, the way some of you guys just try and **** all over him for whatever reason (it certainly seems to be a combination of sour grapes and anger rooted at his refusal to conform to certain ideals about a 'correct' photograph that are hailed down on him by people every post) is just ridiculous. The best part is, I bet serg posts here almost to get the critics spun up a bit - when his posts DON'T go 5 pages, it's a failure. lol
those shots all look amazing, but i think the use of the tilt shift makes you look less on the creative shot.
what made those pictures interesting is the cool DOF, but that's most of it.
the last one how ever is very cool cuz you used that lens to make the Toy effect which turned out awesome cuz she that big rock next to her that looks now also small.
again, they all look good picture wise, great tones, good looking girl, a bit to similar smiles and poses.. just missing a nice Creative.
She is of course gorgeous, but you already knew that.
The first thing that came to mind was "why is she square to camera in every single shot?" ... I hope the set has a bit more variation to it, though I'd be surprised if she doesn't find enough to enjoy in just the ones you showed here
One bit of critique. This is an attractive young lady who looks like she has a nice figure. Shooting a person straight on makes her mid section/hips look larger than they actually are. I slight skewing of her body would take inches off her body.

Hey Jeremy,
I gotta be honest here. Many of these comments are singing the same tune. They cant all be missing the boat. I like a lot of Sergio's stuff, but that doesnt mean I cant look honestly at this set and say its kind of....well....not his best. Should we discard reality and just say ooooh lovely....just cause it was posted by a well known member? I think not. My comments were my honest feelings about the look of this set. Sorry if that doesnt mesh with your opinion, but isnt that kind of the whole point?
Does it sell...is a very fair question. If this were my daughter...they wouldnt. As for posting/shooting = sales....well if its portraits and weddings...you are prob right. Sports and other stuff not so much....as much of the shooting is on spec, but thats not the case for portraits.
We all swing and miss...or at least foul one back every once in a while...or get too committed to some pp technique...shooting technique etc. This one isnt a home run for sure. Not a swing and miss either, but I think the overwhelming tide of similar comments rings pretty true.
