I just purchased a D70s and was wondering if there is a limit to the size of Compact Flash that the camera can accept. I was going to purchase a few cards later today, but I don't want to buy a 4/8/16gig card if the camera can only use a 2gig card.
I've done quite a few searches online, but nothing was very helpful.
Sometime it freaks out and a glowing golden infinity symbol floats in the air above the top LCD, but that normally goes away if I take the battery out.

The D70 should take CF cards up to the CF card addressing limit of 137GB. Unlike SD Cards where the limit was 2GB until they changed the specs to SDHC. Any device made before the revised specs of SDHC are not compatible hence the D50 only works with up to 2GB cards.

It's the D50 that you have to worry about. Those suckers only take SD cards...aka 2gb or less.
I use a Sandisk 4GB SD in my D50. Works well, you just can't use the in-camera format utility. But the camera can use all 4GBs to store images.
