Haha! I'm sorry Peter I just enjoy all the sliders I get to use in RAW way too much!

Thanks for the test shots, Conrad. ISO 3200 looks very usable, and even 6400 would look good after some minor noise reduction.

Yep, you are right, he's gone, just like those people in the movie "The Forgotten". A search for that troll's username yields "0 results".

Glad the moderator paid attention to all the requests for action against him...1 down...many more to go ! :-)

Its funny but I really didn't understand what that fellow was trying to say. I guess it must have been inflammatory in nature.

Very nice. The Noise Ninja really worked well.

I am enjoying the heck out of my 7D and it works well with the 200 f2 with the 2X TC II. There are many useful functions on this camera.

Is the mode dial really fixed/better on the 7D? I've had issues with my 40D in the field...where the dial used to slip to another mode and I got weird results until I figured out what was going on :-).

Hey John! I'm so happy to hear that! Now don't let Ant play with it. Let him get his own. Haha!!! Poor Ant, he's not here to defend himself today.

I tell you, all the new extra buttons and sheer flexibility of what you want to do what is sweet. The dials have been no problem for me.

Conrad, really appreciate the test shots here. I agree that these images appear to clean up wonderfully. I'm really excited about the 7D at this point.

Conrad, those are excellent heron portraits. Good man.

Oh come on Peter ask him, you know................

OK I will, Conrad, can the 7D do PIF You then could really impress Peter and he may even let you borrow his 135L to demo

Much respect to both of you guys, thanks Conrad for taking the time to share/sell the 7D values. Conrad, yes those are good looking low light herons and your 'clean up' shot has a nice 3d feel in it, nice work!

Hey thanks Karl! Pijuns in flight are saved for slow dark rainy Canadian days man! I'm on a bird locating hot streak here. Don't jinx me with that pijun stuff.

Hi Conrad,

It's nice to see that sensor noise is finally beginning to resemble the true randomness of film grain, rather than a patterned noise...I'll consider this a big plus creativity-wise. I so miss the various textures of different emulsions. Thanks for the samples!

Peace,
Jimmy G

Now does anyone know why Lightroom will not import photos from my camera? Photoshop CS4 now works for me. But Lightroom is a goner. Grr....

Holy shit that's sweet.

Any small improvement that makes my sports photos more salable. Nice nice nice!

Conrad, I know I've asked a bunch of you (sorry couldn't open the .cr2, my dpp needs updating) but this is another favor.

Indoors shot, where the lighting sucks severely at ISO3200/6400.

This may be my new cage fighting camera!
