Yep, you are right, he's gone, just like those people in the movie "The Forgotten". A search for that troll's username yields "0 results".
Glad the moderator paid attention to all the requests for action against him...1 down...many more to go ! :-)
Its funny but I really didn't understand what that fellow was trying to say. I guess it must have been inflammatory in nature.
Is the mode dial really fixed/better on the 7D? I've had issues with my 40D in the field...where the dial used to slip to another mode and I got weird results until I figured out what was going on :-).

I tell you, all the new extra buttons and sheer flexibility of what you want to do what is sweet. The dials have been no problem for me.
Conrad, really appreciate the test shots here. I agree that these images appear to clean up wonderfully. I'm really excited about the 7D at this point.

Conrad, those are excellent heron portraits. Good man.
Oh come on Peter ask him, you know................
OK I will, Conrad, can the 7D do PIF You then could really impress Peter and he may even let you borrow his 135L to demo
Much respect to both of you guys, thanks Conrad for taking the time to share/sell the 7D values. Conrad, yes those are good looking low light herons and your 'clean up' shot has a nice 3d feel in it, nice work!

Hey John! I'm so happy to hear that! Now don't let Ant play with it. Let him get his own. Haha!!! Poor Ant, he's not here to defend himself today.

Hahhah!! dude thats classic. Ya bring him the strap. Tell him to hang it around his neck and imagine the performance. Hahhahha!!! Oh man I hope he doesn't read this. I'm gonna be helping him move into his new house tomorrow. Hahhaha!
It's nice to see that sensor noise is finally beginning to resemble the true randomness of film grain, rather than a patterned noise...I'll consider this a big plus creativity-wise. I so miss the various textures of different emulsions. Thanks for the samples!
