I've just seen the new sony ad that features Peyton Maning, Justin Timberlake, and Nigel Baker (a photographer recently converted to Sony). Nigel Baker is also on Sony Style front page.

ahhz and I thought it was clear. Sony chooses to feature a celeb photographer (who claims all of his DSLRs/lenses are replaced by a Sony system), obviously trying to swing some non Sony shooters. It doesn't work for me but I think the ad was pretty funny and it was just some news.
I know it's newz....personally I am just plain sick and tired of seeing "celebs" promoting stuff that they probably have never even touched much less use. Peyton Manning shooting Sony?...yeah right. I wonder if Nigel really did go to Sony though?
Yeah, Nigel says he replaced all of his DSLR stuff with Sony, but I'm sure that the bulk of his work will still be RZ67 digital. Either way, good marketing move by Sony. Celebrity or not, Nigel is a real, working photographer, as opposed to Andre Agassi and Ashton Kutcher.

I have to admit, Ashton is pretty hilarious in those Nikon commercials....to bad Demi's not in them!
