Ditto what Ed said.
Apart from 18, 21, 40 and 85mm, any 49mm Zuiko can be had for less than $200 each. This is an amazing mount, and some of you may notice I love it.
The best way to spend less than $200 and start an alt fever is buying
OM-1 + 28/3.5 + 50/1.8 + 135/3.5 + battery + film.
I am pretty happy with it. Right now its the only fixed 28 I have. I bought it as part of an Olympus kit that consisted of a OM2-S Program body, 50/1.8, 28/2.8, 75-150/4, strobe, bag and way cool Olympus system catalog brochures, all for $60. The Camera and lenses are in great shape as well. Right now the only thing I use is the 28. Its tiny but seems to deliver the goods quite admirably.
Funny you started this thread, I just got back from a business trip to Ohio and since my 28/2 is broken and is my business travel lens of choice, I brought my 28/3.5 which I rarely use.
Mastadon @3.5
I was pleasantly surprised with how it handled in very low light at low shutter speeds, which was what I used it for most of the trip. I can only blame the lack of light and the camera (and maybe my pp skills) for the noise.
i was amazed when i started using it, as it tested very well out the box.
the deal i got on the set of lenses blew me away... an om 50 1.4, 50 3.5 macro, and the 28 3.5 for $110 with free priority mail shipping! and they are damn near mint. needless to say i am still giddy over this
i see what your saying... its one of the reasons why i liked the set from this shoot
but actually all that was done was set the distance to about 2.5' @ f3.5... and held the camera at the sand level where my fingers were in the sand... and of course move the cam when the waves came. they were only 6"
