I just visited the site using Firefox and suddenly some so-called virus checker suddenly took over firefox and I can't even open firefox now without the take-over popping up.
Not sure if I just got attacked some other way if there is some malware some hacker just planted on CR?
I have vista with all the latest security patches and the latest version of firefox.
I am afraid to try it with IE since I don't want to mess up that browser too.
EDIT:
killed firefox process.
rebooted, it failed the restore windows and asked if i wanted to not restore virus check window and then it worked fine again
i tempted fate and visited canon rumors again and nothing happened
not sure what caused it
a second again i just went from FM to CR and boom as soon as CR started loading it happened, but it didnt happen this time so I have no idea what set it off...
I get that when visiting another site. Just don't click on anything and kill the firefox process. I don't get that on my MAC, so time to buy a MAC for you haha. Please no PC vs MAC here.
