A photo of Eva and my dad (Her Grandfather). There is an 88 year difference between them.
While I am posting - I want all my friends here at the FM WA to know about my annual broadcast concert which, this year, is on Sunday September 6 - the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It starts at 6 PM Pacific Time (you'll have to work out your own time zone) and can be heard by going here http://www.sundayslive.org/ Follow the instructions to find out how to listen to the concert at the appropriate time. You might like to test it out this Sunday just to make sure it works. We will be performing the String Quartet in E Flat Major D. 87 by Schubert and the Schumannn Piano Quintet - both incredibly beautiful works. If you are in the LA area you can come to the concert at the LA County Museum of Art on Wilshire Blvd in the Bing Theater. It's free, but best to be there a bit ahead of 6 PM since it always fills up and they shut the doors just prior to the concert since it is broadcast. Finally, if you are in the LA Area you can also hear a rebroadcast of the concert on KCSN 88.5 FM on the following Wednesday at noon. Lots of options. I hope you can all find a way to hear it.
Thanks, Norm. I'm glad you like the shot. Yes, my Dad is 96 and in fine shape. He still lives on his own and lifts weights and does calisthenics every day. His hearing isn't much good but aside from that he's doing great.
All the best,
Endre

Thanks so much, Andrew-Bede, my friend! I'm always so glad when you like my shots. It's so good to hear from you. It's been awhile. I hope all's well at your end.

An absolutely stunning portrait. You have beautifully captured your father and your daughter. I am sure that they and you will cherish this shot, but it is a phenomenal entry for this assignment as well. Wonderful lighting and you seem to have pulled off a very difficult shot effortlessly.
Thank, you, Steve, for your very kind comments. I am so happy you like it.
All best wishes,
Endre
