Congratulations. That's great work. If I can ask how did it happen? I've submitted pictures to National Geographic and was told thanks but no thanks, all our photos are planned months out and we only use our own photographers.
Wow, Congrats anh Andy Nguyen. No doubt, the photo deserves it. I also like what you believe in, "... there's no room for jealousy or envy when you're totally open-minded in any field of art. Always hope for a better world. "
I'm so happy for you, what an honor that you are so deserving of. I have followed your work from the first day that I came to FM. Congrats and well wishes for what's to come from you.

Larry,
Thank you for being here to celebrate the momentous occasion with me. This is as good as it gets.

It is GREAT to see how this special image is appreciated by so many. And to have it published in NG - well, I can't think of anything better.
Andy, as the first person to comment on your HOLY GRAIL shot here on FM, I tip my hat to you. The recognition is well earned.
Henrik
Henrik,
Thanks so much for being there, twice. I still remember you got your "first" with the Holy Grail post and it went on to almost 20,000 views and more than 300 comments/replies. Look what you started!

Thunderbird, the photo certainly deserves a place in their magazine,, being a reader for most of my life (69 years) I have always been impressed with the quality and abilities of their photographers,, far more than most of us will ever achieve or even get close too,,

Thank you Derry. Such an honor to receive that compliment from you.

I was just received my monthly copy and was reading tonight after dinner. It took me about two seconds to realize that it was your shot. I loved that capture the second I saw it. Congrats on your accomplishment and I look forward to seeing more from you through the National Geographic in the years to come. Wow!
Daniel,
Thank you so very much for the kind words.
