Wandering around the nearby scout camp in search of life forms I came across a small frog, about a half inch long. The plant it is on is some kind of grass growing in clumps by the water, populated by overwintering grasshoppers of some kind.
I got a new (old Dell P1130 CRT - $40) monitor after the blue gun stopped firing in mine a couple weeks ago, if that's what actually happened - screen went yellow/green. I haven't calibrated it except by eye. Wondering if brightness, colour and contrast look ok 'out there'?
Awww very cute frog #3 and #6 in particular. #5 looks like it's grabbing a small blade to use as a lance hee...
Colour's fine to me as well; there's a weird purple line on the frog''s end on #2 though.
bgorum. Lighting was simple. Sun was coming and going through cloud as the frog jumped in and out of the light through the grass plant. I used on board flash at varying strength to fill, underexposing to keep highlights - TBIC without losing too much shadow detail. (see here : https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/780820/0#7182291)
