I just was just curious what the difference between books and albums are from the vendors. I'm assuming albums are printed are photo paper and books are printed on more of press paper. Just was hoping someone could verify.
Depends on who you're having the conversation with. I often advertise my wedding "albums" with clients.....but then again it's only a book. I then discuss their photo book and hand it over to them saying this is your album.
In the traditional sense the term album is in reference to a book like set that actual photographs are inserted into sleeves or mounted directly to the pages .... where a book is created through the printing press method ... today, quite often these terms are used in reference to both methods ... depending on who you are speaking with about the subject.
