Anyone know where to get an instruction book for the 500 VR? And, no, I don't feel like spending $8500 to buy an instruction book.

Thank you. I wasn't clear in my original post. I was actually referring to getting the original hard copy version.

Did you call Nikon? They used to sell the paper manuals, but I don't know about the ones for lenses. Are you selling the lens?

Thanks for the idea. No, not selling the lens. I just bought one used and it doesn't have the book. I'm anticipating a sale of the lens at some point in the distant future so thought it best to deal with getting the book now.
