Just took delivery a few weeks ago, just got first chance to take it for a spin.

Shots at f8.0 with circ polar on 5DII

I need to use this lens more often, but always pack my 35-70.

Very nice! Any reason you went for the Flektagon instead of the Distagon? From what I can tell prices are about the same with the Flektagon having the edge at smaller apertures and the Distagon being better at larger apertures.

I have neither, but will be purchasing one soon.

I have both the Flektogon and Distagon 35/2.8. IMO the Flek beats the Distagon every aspect. Flek also has macro capability that's a big bonus. It used to be my fav 35mm until I got the VS35-70.

This copy of the flek cost $160USD, availability on ebay for the Flek is great, always plenty on sale where the distagon seems pretty rare, and prices a lot higher. From what I could glean from reviews, there wasnt much difference
