Tom- Super sweet to hear that Tom, my wifes garden Had planned some birding in this Garden Park, danced in and out of sun and rain, found some shelter under a few trees then the colors came alive and I went for it! Thanks buddy
Lil- A kind thanks Lil, its fun to see and try to isolate the colors and move around to set up a nice BG on them. Usually a cluttered mess on the lillies but many had not bloomed yet, thanks for the numerous picks!
Jude- I appreciate your kind words and picks Jude, glad you enjoyed them!
Hide- These are the closest things I can think of to get colors to enjoy like you guys do on those hummers I guess I should call them hummers on a stick Your picks on these are appreciated!
Nello- Floral hater You gotta find your most manly side to do these buddy Thanks for the good words and yes the 'Chad' action works well for me and the credit card info it stole was no biggie for me, they are maxxed out anyhow
Glad everyone enjoyed these and thanks again..........
Karl
These are lovely Karl, but the first image for me is stunning. #4, with the rose being set off by that dark background is a close runner up. These are images to be proud of and I like them all.
Thanks for helping us all to be a little more in touch with our softer side.
Alan- Thanks on your pick #7 you have a good eye Alan. Glad you enjoyed the series
Matt- Hey thanks buddy, enjoy your lillies and your weekend My arms, well they are in conditioning mode
P.L.- Thanks Per, fun to play with colors, like having crayons as a kid
Ron- You are right on on #5, was going to clone out but thought it might look a bit bare since there was quite a bit behind the rose> Maybe I should have reduced the level a bit on it at least, thanks on that buddy. As you know these get cluttered up quickly and single clean flowers aren't always that easy to find so it pushes for more work on the comp or cropping. Let's hope we can share some more 'beautiful backsides' soon
Dan- Will PM you on the 'Chad action' photoshop plugin Glad you enjoyed them Thanks for the visit and kind words!
Robert- Thank you sir and a good accurate eye you have too Glad you enjoyed them!
A couple of days ago I spend a little short of $400 for a 60mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor to do this kind of photography and...here comes Karl shooting them @500mm!!
Wacky- Careful, killer bee buddy! I thought about cloning out the flower but they always seem to grow right back for me by the time I post em buddy
Thang- Thanks and glad the 'opposite' side got your attention
Mike- Appreciate your picks and the nice words my friend, I was a little overdue
Ted- We know you are always thinking of us buddy, glad you had a few moments to visit and I had something of interest to offer for you
Bianca- Thanks for commenting, however I can't control Mother Nature and her 'raindrops' I was way to late for dewdrops
Wayne- Thanks very much for visiting and your kind words, that is appreciated sir!
Carl- Overcast, and in and out of rain bursts helped load in the color. Thank you buddy
Paul- Well that is good to hear! I am not a big fan of water drops but my short window of sun was doused with rain and it stays of a while Thanks for the kind words too.
Ed- Hey easy on those emoticons buddy Thanks
Tony- You have a good eye, that and #1 were my favs. Thanks for stopping by Tony.
The visits and comments come greatly appreciated, Thanks!
