Greetings! My name is Will and this is my first post since I've gotten back into photography after a long hiatus. For my recent 40th birthday, I bought myself a Canon T1i to replace the Pentax ME Super that I got for my 14th birthday!
Thanks to my long time friend Vipermike for bringing this site and these assignments to my attention and encouraging me to participate. I hope to take an active part in this community.
Hi Will ~ VERY cool - I like the composition with the changing/alternating patterns ... some going diagonal and then what is reflected going diagonal in the other direction.

John, the reflecting building is a hotel and it seems the beige windows are windows leading into rooms while the darker ones have solid walls behind them. Maybe what's behind them creates the effect, maybe it's a different type of glass/coating.
Trippy!!! What can you find in this? Can stare for hours. Great first entry. You will love it and learn so much on top of what it appears a very talented person already!!
and, just for fun, the glass is called spandrel glass, it can be specified to have the same reflectance characteristics as the regular glazing, or, like this, a very different reflectance property.
