very nice, one of my perennial favorite areas! you're lucky that we've had so much rain this past month. my favorite is #1, maybe just clone out the protruding leaves on the lower left corner. #2 also nice but feels very slightly cutoff from the bottom.

Very nice set Joe, the first came out quite nicely even though it looks like you were fighting the sun. On the second I might crop the top to remove that patch of sky and change the perspective slightly. I'd like to see a little wider shot of the last one, it seems like there should be a little more to it.

Great pics, especially the first... brings back many memories for me.
I didn't grow up there, but my folks grew up in Ithaca, and I spent a lot of time there visiting my grandmother when I was younger.
Not sure if you're familiar with Forrest Home Drive (in Ithaca), and the old stone houses (4 in a row) that were built by my great grandfather William Mitchell, but I have always wanted to make a trip back there since getting into photography to do some shots of those houses. He was a stone-mason, and did a lot of work at Cornell, and it's interesting to note that a large portion of the stone that he used to build the houses were leftovers from his work, and in some cases, you can see where he used things like counter-tops (with sink/faucet holes) as stones in the construction of the homes.
One of the houses, in particular, was built as a memorial to my great grandmother, and many of the exterior stones were carved with inscriptions of poetry and quotes.

I live in central PA, but I plan to go back up to the finger lakes area again later this summer. So many things to see up there and it is only a 2.5 hour drive. When I am up there I will look for those houses, they seem like they would be a good subject. Thanks,
