Utterly fabulous, Jim, my dear friend! I think you will likely take the tip prize this week with this one. Lightening is particularly difficult for me to get looking right in PS. How did you do the lightening and smoke effect? Bravo!!!

Awesome composite, the only thing that doesn't sit quite right with me though is the left sleeve. I'd probably try to darken it a little bit to bring out the outline of the face a bit more.

That's one totally fabulous shot James - superb idea, great composition and wonderful execution!

If I was being **really** picky I'd say it was a pity the point the lightening meets the left thumb is a tad dark - it looks fab on the other fingers as there seems to be some light points on the finger ends and looks natural - as if the lightening is emanating from the light spots on the finger ends.

But that's microscopic compared with the awesomeness of the shot! I love it.

Thanks Endre. The image is a single shot - except the lightning - which I shot during a storm 6-28-09.

Thank you, Kaouthia. The sleeve doesn't bother me. Considering the topic, I'm just happy that my ugly mug didn't ruin the image.

Suse, thank you for the wonderful comment. I'll double check that thumb in a little bit. I did work on the finger tips, but perhaps I made too small a change on that one.

Thank you, Caley. I do have a problem with my internal image not matching reality. Time has really done a number on me - IMO.

I usually don't like PS work but this one is the exception to the rule. Very creative shot.
