me while I tried to figure out is another seller was actually going to take the lens
or not, he was kind enough to pay promptly after a deal was made and actually
bothered to email when he received the lens to tell me all was well (as I had

Comments: Purchased a 1DS from this guy, whose' name is David. The transaction was fantastic.
The price was killer, $3950, and David sold to me even though he could have easily gotten $4000 for it if he waited even a few more hours... this speaks worlds to me of his character as a person. I'm a broke college student so I really appreciate any money that I can save.
Shipping was great - David packed everything impeccably; the way everything was packed within the 1DS box was like opening everything up new.
The unit itself is in great condition and from a few initial tests everything appears to be in working order. Now I have to just figure out what to do.

I had a very positive transaction with JCHEN who is a very nice guy to speak with.
JCHEN's PayPal Echeck cleared exactly on schedule. While still awaiting normal PayPal Echeck clearance, I shipped the sale items in advance.
Based upon the positive feedback for JCHEN here on FM, and a good feeling JCHEN conveyed when we spoke on the phone I had absolutley no doubt all would be well when shipping the sale items in advance of Echeck clearance. This clearance normally takes a few days which was the case in this transaction.
Meanwhile, JCHEN sent me a regular check by mail to cover shipping and Paypal Echeck fees.
I would gladly do business with JCHEN in the future. Ialready miss my 85mm f/1.8, so who knows? I might end up buying it back from him!!!
