Woody Tolbert responded to a WTB post I placed on FM, I purchased some Bogen Tripod legs from him and he was a great guy to do business with. Fast shipping and the item was just as he described it. I would reccomend him highly.

This has become a popular person to talk about in a negative way. I had mixed success, I receiived my lens after some prodding by myself and other members of FM. The package came by 2nd day fedex, which was good. Packaging was not very good, the Polarizer filter was just laying loose in the box with no case and was very dirty. The UV filter was not sent along with the B&H receipt and the warranty card. I am still waiting for both. Communication was not good, especially after he had my money. It turns out he is just a 18 year old kid, and obviously acts like it. I would stay away from dealing with him till he grows up and all other problems with past FMers are cleared up.
I purchased a couple of newswear pouches from Joe last weekend. He gave me a bit of a break on the price, communicaton was prompt and effective, he shipped the items right away, and I've received them in "as described" condition. Thanks Joe for a pleasant and successful transaction.

i just bought a 28mm f/1.8 from dave and am beyond impressed. if he has a lens for sale and you are looking to buy said lens, do not hesitate. great to communicate with and the lens was exactly as discribed. on top of everything we agreed on a price with shipping. he went and fired the lens across the country express and i had it within 2 days. dave could have easily shipped ground to save himself $10 but didn't. i can't thank you enough dave, it truly was a pleasure doing business. oh yeah, he also packaged the lens box inside another box, wrapped it in bubble wrap and filled with styro chips...the perfect way to ship a lens. great great guy to deal with.
