After some email communication, Ron agreed to purchase my 1Ds Mark II. He paid promptly via Cashier's Check and everything is as smooth as it can be, especially for a big ticket item like this camera. Communication is also efficient and excellent. Jerry is quite possibly the nicest person I've met on this forum. We pm'd back and forth a few times during the transaction and I mentioned my wife and I were having a daughter in April. When the battery arrived, it was not in the original Canon package yet still appeared to be new. I pm'd Jerry just to make sure it was in fact a new battery. He apologized saying that it was brand new but he'd taken it out of the package and that he understood my concern. Then he did something I never expected. He pm'd me and said that he was ripping up my check and that I should keep the money and buy something nice for my daughter when she arrives. I was caught off guard by this, believe me!
