I bought a Nikon 20-35mm f2.8 lens from Kurt. He was so helpful and easy to communicate. Yesterday evening, I received the lens. The shipment was prompt and the packing was professional. The lens was just what he described and even better.
I recommend Kurt to whomever wanted to buy the top notch photo gears...and please do remember that he was selling a Nikon 28mm f1.4, Nikon 58mm f1.2 Noct and this 20-35mm f2.8, all of which come with a precision ground aspherical glass (not the cheap composite)
Had a positive transaction with kuan. I traded a lens for a ricoh grd. The grd ended up having some operational issues. Kuan quickly and pleasantly took care of it.
Would highly recommend kuan and would gladly do business with him again.

Comment: This nice gentleman approached me after reading my offer to trade my 24L for a 35L and after multiple messages, the decision was made on Sunday to execute the trade. I had become the high bidder on a pretty 35L and B+W MRC from eBay, and we decided once I got outbid we'd cross-ship our lenses to one another. I notified said user yesterday that I had been outbid to verify that the deal was on and provided my address to ship to, and he replied w/ his address and mentioned he would be using UPS since the hub is local to him and he had a shipping account. He also asked me to trade my 85mm for a 135 and some other lesser lens, which I declined ... Got to work this morning, cleaned the lens perfectly, packed it to a tee, and logged on to check my email to grab the address and received an email that he was backing out. I guess it's better that I didn't ship my lens on my way to work (which I was going to), and that I came into the office first this morning. Oh well, nothing really lost or gained in actuality, except a ot of time corresponding ... well, and the pristine 35L w/ filter I missed on eBay I guess!
For what it's worth, he was very pleasant, and I understand a change of mind, but this was pretty late in the game, and after confirmed agreement to trade so it's worth documentation for future prospective buyers ...

DavidWEGS traded a lens with me. We both received each of our lenses in good faith.
After exactly 40 days, he emailed me asking to trade back his lens. Reason being he said is my lens had front focus issue (which I never had any issues - might be because I'm not a pixel peeper). I told him he received my lens 40 days ago and I even asked him if the lens was "safe and sound" and he said everything was great. I assumed he was happy and that it met his expectation.
I, however was half happy with the lens he traded me because the lens had severe hood scratches, dusts and smudges on the glass element and it didn't arrive as scheduled (UPS fault) - so I sold the glass after a couple of weeks to another party (sold some lenses and bodies too) for our holiday vacation.
He even told me that I may have misrepresented my claim about the lens being perfectly sharp. I would however, have gladly traded it back if I still have the lens and within a reasonable time (maybe a week, not after 40 days).
BHphoto has 14 day return policy, same with other retail stores, they are nowhere near 40 day return - and I am neither a retail store to give that kind of guarantee.
I hope people here will test what they have bought upon receipt and let the buyer know if everything went well in the next couple of days or so. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure everything meets his/her expectation.
Anything over a week after receipt of the product is unfair for the seller.
