As a sidenote about the Sigma 12-24. I had a love-hate relationship with my first Sigma 12-24. I bought this one knowing that. This is a lens that shines when you understand its capabilities and limitations. It's superwide but generally soft (at least compared to every other lens I own). Good post-processing helps bring out the best in this lens. BTW, I'm currently using the lens with a 1DMKII-N. Enjoy!

Just bought a super expensive Nikon lens from zoom2zoom for a reasonable price for both of us. It was perfect, exactly as described. Excellent communication right from the start.
