I have a high school student who recently picked up a drebel and kit lens. She is very passionate about her new hobby. Just after she had the camera, she broke her kit lens. She was crushed and couldnt afford to buy a new one.
So I posted to WTB: Cheap kit lens; with the above story. Steve graciously donated his lens to her! AND picked up the shipping! Steve is what this forum should be about...helping others in need.
My student couldnt be any more happy. I gave her my 50 1.8. So now she has Steve's old kit lens and my 50 1.8! You would think she has an 85L and 5D. Steve helped make that happen!
