Blair had posted his lens of the same model and Rod had indicated he'd like to buy it. However, Rod is in the UK and Blair only wanted to sell in the U.S. This is my second international sale (first was to Clayphish in Canada) and this was a very smooth transaction. Shipping was more expensive and I had to get some different quotes to find the most "reasonable" available. Ended up using USPS. I lowered my price a little to acommodate the higher shipping cost and duties, but still got a fair price. Rod paid via PayPal and I shipped to his confirmed PayPal address.
Many people are afraid to sell internationally, but selling to someone like Rod proves that it can be a pleasant experience. I highly recommend doing business with Rod if you have the chance.

I just got back from the Greater DFW area after purchasing Shawn's 10D from him. He was nice enough to hold the camera for a week and a half or so for me until I had a chance to raise the funds to buy the camera. The camera is exactly as described (actually it's a tad bit better as the scratch mentioned in the description isn't all that noticeable). I've played with the camera some and it functions perfectly. It is clear that Shawn takes care of his gear.
We met at a bookstore and had a nice chat to boot.
