Anatoly was very nice to ship me the grip "on approval" as I really wanted to see if it would fit my 30D/BG-E2 combo. Kirk website shows two different part numbers and a call to Kirk said they looked about the same. Anatoly FedEx'd the bracket to me and lo and behold, it fits the 30D/grip combo like a glove so guess either one is interchangeable in my eye.
