The box appears as though it was just taken off the camera shop shelf. The contents of the box are equally fine. The date code tells me the lens was made in July of 1995 but from its condition I swear no one but an expert could tell it from brand new. Am I happy? You better believe it!
Tom has been a marvelous person with whom to deal, and that despite the fact he has a very busy schedule and was selling quite a few items at the time I made this purchase. He not only described the lens well, he packaged it perfectly and sent it priority mail when I mentioned I hoped to receive the lens before my god-daughter's graduation from high school. I not only have no hesitation to recommend Tom, I've even put him on notice that I might be in the market for another lens if the right one comes along.
