Heidi is a wonderful person to deal with, sweet as can be and honest too. She evn went to the effort to send the 1Ds into Canon for cleaning and checkup even though it is absolutely mint as she described it and (as it turned out) didn't need anything done. Packing was great and I even got it a day early.
So many things can go wrong in these transactions, especially when you are dealing multi-thousand dollar equipment, but Heidi made me feel comfortable from the 1st email. Heidi is a great example of why I love this forum and the people here. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Heidi!
Another deal that shows what a wonderful place this can be. The lens was packed great and was exactly as Sam described. Once again, it is nice to know that there are people out there that you can trust, especially when the prices start ranging into the stratosphere.

The deal went very smooth . Although I allow him to hold the lens till he cleared my Money Order (because I asked him to ship the lens to a friend of mine in US while I live in Canada ), he shipped the lens out almost immediately after got my MO!
I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
I am reluctantly leaving neutral feedback for Nathan. I bought a B+W infrared filter. In his post, Nathan stated that there were no marks on the glass and the filter was "100% like new." However, the filter had been poorly cleaned, and there was cleaning fluid residue and minor cleaning marks on the front of the filter. There is also a small spot in the coating that cannot be cleaned.
While I admit that I am very picky about my gear, the filter was obviously not 100% like new as claimed.
Despite my initial disappointment, the filter is in excellent condition. Nathan was easy to communicate with and apologetic about the condition. He did offer to take it back. My sense is that this was a simple mistake, which we are all entitled to now and then.
I don't think Nathan will make the same mistake again, and I would feel comfortable doing business with him again.
