Thank you Yogi3939, I was shooting for a different competition and the little one just climbed up there it was so funny and I immediately thought of this weeks WA
Bill I wish I could claim to have thought of it heh I will have to put it down to Serendipity on this occassion though. Would love to see the shot you did do you have a link?
Thanks Bill, that's great and what I really like about it is that it looks like they are on Ice - almost synchronised skating!
Vleetj: It was strange the little one was really fast! and when I positioned them for the other competition they obviously went back in to their shells, but that little one only took a few seconds to come out again where as the bigger one often took quite a while which makes it hard to get the shoot you have visualised in your head heh.
I have these little guys all over where I live (Oahu) and see them everyday while taking my dog for a walk. I tried and tried to figure out how to use them and laughed my butt off when I saw your image. Great capture. You have my vote that is for sure. Love it.
Photogunny, they are everywhere here too (UK) was quite funny the other day it had rained a bit through the night and when I took the girls to school there were hundreds of them crossing the roads (I have no idea why but it made the 3 of us smile).
Kaj E, thank you, I did try and cropped 5:4 version but it didn't seem quite right I guess that's the problem when you like to keep to standard ratios - I could have cropped it slightly differently if I had done a freehand crop I guess.
