This is one of those magical lenses. I don't think Canon has many, but this is one that I feel produces unmatchable work. I don't think it's worth the price over the 70-200/2.8, but it is unique. Kinda Zuiko 250/2 ish.

Almost looks medium-format when shot wide-open.
I have both, the 200 f2, is worth the price. There is no comparison. Well there is one, they both produce an image. :^)

Had an unexpected windfall, should have done something sensible with it but I'm now waiting on of these bad boys to arrive. Thanks to this thread it made the decision for me to go for an F2.0 over an F 2.8. I hope my skills can do such a lens the justice that I have see it done on this thread.
