Had to (yeah, just had to) help a friend who is a boat broker run a 52 ft Maritimo from Seattle to Victoria BC for the boat show. That boat handles like a ski boat compared to my clunker 20 year old Tolly. Weather was nasty heading out of Seattle. We were pushing blue water over the top of the bridge. By the time we got to Deception Pass the skies were clear and the water was flat as a pool table all the way down the strait to Victoria. Cruising at 25 knots it hardly feels like your moving but stick your head out in the wind and you realize that you're clipping right along. The boat is that smooth and quiet. I think I'd sell my first born to get that boat but I'd still have a significant budget shortfall. C&C welcome.
