The post is a bit small ( i suggest 800 on longest side for best comments).
1 has great colors. I think I might crop 1/2 of water off below to improve composition. To improve the composition I think you need an anchor on the right because the picture kind of feels truncated on the right.
2 is a better composition but needs a bird or something big top left to make it work better and untilting the horizon. There is a dot which is likely a bird that is too small middle. I would clone it out.
With the size you provided, the editing does not look too strong. Scott
