Our wildflower displays this year were severely lacking in the carpets of spectacular poppies that the Californians had - I had to concentrate on isolating the few that I could find. Not truly landscape at this distance but they were "in" the landscape!

Wow just awesome macros the way the luminosity is rendered in these images is just beautiful. Just a very beautiful series who needs carpets of wildflowers when you produce images such as these.
That last one is really lovely, like an orange bathrobe wrapped around a little green stem.. and oh, those droplets! That little sunstar is just awesome.
Suzanne: Plez share your secret for compensating for the high reflectance of the poppy petals, to capture an exposure without blown highlights. Your images appear to have been shot during an early or late part of the day. Will appreciate any tips.
