Although I use a Canon DSLR, my two favorite flower images were taken with different cameras.
This one was shot using a Kodak point and shoot from 2004. Kodak knew how to get great color in their jpegs.
My other favorite is this Iris image shot on 4X5 E100G. It was shot with a Fujinon 210/f5.6 -NW.
If a Canon shot is madatory, I'll go for this one from the 2009 National Cherry Blossom Festival in DC.

I mostly shoot my flowers in the shade. I try to be out in sunshine to get a bright and lovely background but shade the actual flower. I think this an ok photo but it is a bit blown.
