p.63 #1 · Post your best Flower shot

Although I use a Canon DSLR, my two favorite flower images were taken with different cameras.

This one was shot using a Kodak point and shoot from 2004. Kodak knew how to get great color in their jpegs.

My other favorite is this Iris image shot on 4X5 E100G. It was shot with a Fujinon 210/f5.6 -NW.

If a Canon shot is madatory, I'll go for this one from the 2009 National Cherry Blossom Festival in DC.

jamach,
nice flower shots but the watermark is a bit distracting IMO.

I have to agree. Is the point to give your fellows a pleasant experience, or to tell that you are able to do it?

The reason I bother to say this, is that the images really are so good that they deserve a clean appearance.

Those two are stunning. The first is close to perfection.

Gary!
I mostly shoot my flowers in the shade. I try to be out in sunshine to get a bright and lovely background but shade the actual flower. I think this an ok photo but it is a bit blown.

All the best.

Thanks for the kind comments.

The reason for the watermark is that the pics are in a commercfial site, where the pics are for sale.

I have seen many present pics with signatures, loud and boisterous watermark, an dsuch.

I have not seen the watermark ptrol attack these folks.

So, I am finding the comment a little too., too, whatever.

Just enjoy the pics, leave a comment, and check out the next one.

All my pics will have the watermark since I don't have multiple websites.
