Not a lot of solitude here this weekend with family in town, but this little one in my back yard seemed lucky enough to find her own space.

I like it a lot!
I really like this kind of minimalist image. Perfectly executed. This really fits the assignment. Very well done!

Very good minimalist perspective, Nancy. Great idea leaving the bottom line or shadow in, adds a nice twist of perspective or mystery. Mike

Nancy, this is fantastic! The light is gorgeous, and your depiction of the morning dove... it's like it's coo-cooo-cooooing right outside the window! Solitude? Absolutely perfect...

Mike, Thanks! I tried a crop without the second wire and then realized how much it added to keep it in.
Jeff, Why thank you! The coo-coo'ing from this one I can deal with. Her little red-headed woodpecker friend is another story!
Arka, Much appreciated. I took this one at the last minute with my dog barking (solitude?) beside me, so it really was a lucky 'capture'
