Got one at Best Buy locally. They had 2 on the shelf and their website indicates they usually ship in 1 business day.

Same here - I kept checking http://www.nowinstock.net/digitalcameras/canon5dmarkii/ and ordered the 5D II kit this morning from B&H and it has shipped already.

p.6 #5 · 5D Mark II in stock anywhere?

I ordered one today from the Camera Store in Calgary. They had best price I could find in Canada, $3149.98 cdn including taxes and shipping . That is about $2550 US. I was lucky as ther website showed they were out of stock. I called to see when they expected more and I was told they had a couple that were on hold but there was the chance that one of them may come available and would call me back within the hour to let me know. The short of it all is that one on hold was cancelled.

Should have the camera Tuesday.

I love the small size and weight, and the lenses are a terrific value for the money, but I'm struggling a bit with the small viewfinder.
