just bought a new 135L to replace the one i had foolishly sold; bought and promptly sold a sigmalux - god i wanted to like that lens.
now, if canon will for the sake of pete come out with the 1D4, i can go ahead and justify a 1D3. (i have a feeling my 35L will like it better on a 1.3 body.)
After a few years of having the same lenses in my bags and after purchasing a used 5D last year, I decided to change it up a bit, since I really discovered my likes and dislikes...

I had plans on upgrading my iMac this year but that changed. I was able to upgrade to a Mac Pro for $1000 thanks to Apple. After attempting to fix the issue I had, they made me an offer I could not refuse.
On the Camera front, I have plans of adding a 100-400 and possible a 24 TS-E.
Congrats on your 300 and wft.. both pretty sweet.
If it were me; I would move the 35 and 85 to the top of the list, although if you keep your current trend, you will end up w/ a 2xtc and a fish...
For me, I bought a 5D2
on the list would be a 45 tilt shift and maybe a 16-35.. but then again, I am not much of a zoom guy...so prob just the ts

Thanks you Sir, yeah the 2x and the fish are a little easier to swallow/purchase than the 35L or the 85L II. I really hadn't looked at my trend there, good eye . I'll probably do the 24L before the 35L just because I tend to end up there quite a bit. As you know things change and needs take the place of wants.

Same here. I want the 5D II, but if the 1D IV were FF of 16MP or more and the othr goodies, then I might just use that and keep my 40D until the 60D comes out. Otherwise if no 1D IV or it's 1.3x crop, then 5D II is more likely.

I bought the 85L & 35L on the 29th or December because of the price increases that came 1 Jan, but now it feels like there's new price increases at the start of every other month!
