As shot-- Andrew Jackson on $20 bill. The crazy distortion was due to the bill being crumpled, the angle and shallow DOF of my 90mm macro lens. As some of you know, I love headshots. :-)
A masterfully contemplative image Bev, I like the abstract distortion which leaves the viewer to decide their own train of thought, with merely the image working as a platform, and many paths which can be taken from it.
The wrinkle along the nose almost makes his face three-dimensional. Is it the ink on the right side of his face, or is it the light making it seem darker than it is? Oh, this is just fantastic. I love it!
