Nice pic Scott, I thought about doing the same shot, but my BB gun, would not be near as intimidating. Not everyone has a 9mm laying around you know. Maybe, I need to sell some of my camera gear and get a new gun. Just kidding. But seriously, I like the shot. "Shot" is very fitting for this picture.
While I like the idea and pic, the safety side of me cringes at the subject having his finger on the trigger. I don't how many times you checked the gun or how lame I sound, that still makes me a bit uneasy.
I would like to thank everyone for their comments and I want to assure everyone that I take firearms safety with the utmost seriousness, as everyone should. The weapon was not loaded and had been rendered inoperable by the removal of the firing pin prior to the picture being taken, there was no live ammunition or magazines anywhere near at the time. The bullet that is visible in the barrel is just that a bullet (no shell) that had been placed in the barrel and held in place with silly putty so that it wouldn't fall out between shots.
I may re-shoot the image again if I can find a hollow point bullet to replace the round nose ball that was used in this image and figure a way to light the actual bullet better.

BTW, the weapon is a Springfield XD45. .45ACP and my wife is the model.
