Lets play the "Which camera took this shot of the Killdeer" game. One was taken with my 1d2n the other with the Rebel XT - both from the same location at 700mm. A fair test as they are both ancient obsolete 8mp cameras....
#5 and 10 my picks. Followed by 9 and 4, followed by 7 and 1, followed by 2 and 3, followed by 6 and 8. #11 looks a bit over sharpened on my monitor and didn't make for in my favorite list. # 12 looks better.

With all of the photos of Black Skimmers I have seen on this forum I believe I have only seen one that is actually skimming. Why? When fishing in Florida on the rivers it was always a beautiful sight.
Another very nice series, no surprise.
Very cool side lit landing Willet in #2.
#4 is hilarious and very well done.
8 and 9 are great IF shotz, with 8 being my fave of the whole set.
I like #12 of the two Killdeer.. no idea on the camera D300
Great series Ken, awesome light and exposures, excellent comps, and super sharp as always.
#6 is my favorite in this wonderful set of chicken like birds.
#2 is the M2N shot too.. I'm just guessing and I figure you not going to tell the truth anyway.... so #2 it is.
Chad, you were second. I posted 1st - doh! Yep, I agree that #6 is a darn fine shot and I will admit now that you chose poorly on the camera question. #2 was taken with the XT - and that's a fact, Jack!
