A friend just emailed me and said that MSN/Hotmail had an article up today about the top 10 sexiest careers. Apparently photographers are on there!
8. Photographers
Artsy types get a boost in the sexy department for having a strong sense of style and a unique perspective on the world. Even among artists, photographers stand out because they stay behind the camera, finding beauty in unconventional and overlooked places. Their willingness to stay out of the spotlight and focus their attention on someone else is endearing.
Of course, some of their other careers were a bit... off. Oh, well!
No disrespect for any guys or gals here that moonlight at their day job as IT techs, but from the IT people I've run into/work with over the years, sexy isn't even close to the word I would use to describe them... Unless ripped Krispy Kreme boxes, Flaming Cheetos, and Yoo-hoo are turn ons...
Now do university professors get a bump because of Indiana Jones?

Too afraid of the responses to say that I agree with you.
I was a frat boy while going to a university. I was forced into IT when it was needed, was given a sat phone while on vacation in the Caribbeans (don't they realize that I have a life?). I'm now a pro photographer and I can't stand those long hours and running all over the place with a heavy load, my back is about to give out... Glamorous & sexy? I'd say NOT!!!
