While I agree that this was a great example and well put together. That whole "free hugs" video concept was done well over a year ago. Perhaps the same film maker... not sure.. but it certainly isn't original. Regardless, great example of video.. Thanks for sharing.
Wow... very nice! So I have not played with the video on the mark II vey much nor have I read the manual reagarding video, so correct me if I'm wrong, but it does NOT autofocus the lenses right? It seems to focus only when one pushes the AF-ON button and it causes some kind of delay/bright-then-dark that appears on the video (of course) before it re-focuses. I guess its not really meant to be a camcorder.
It auto focusses but not as quick as on still settings. It's easy enough to tweak the mf ring. I don't see it as a real problem but I'm sure later versions of DSLR's will have a quicker AF in video mode.
I have been led to believe that most 'broadcast quality video cameras' are not AF by the way.
