p.1 #1 · Mid priced flush mount wedding album options
Hi all,
Just wondering what service you use for your flush mount style albums with thick pages. I've been offering renassance albums with the 10x10 slip-in option for my mid priced albums. The book and prints cost around $250. So I'm looking for something in the $300 to $400 range including printing with thick laminated pages
I priced out the renassance soho from alums inc. and it would be about $450 for the basic book. I thought about graphistudio but one guy I shoot with showed me his sample and it had a red discoloration down the gutter. He called graphistudio and they said this was common. Sounds kind of odd for a $500 album?
I know there are a lot of vendors for this so reccomendations would be great.

soho?
I know of coffeetable books and flush mount, either self mount (peel and stick) or factory mounted (the prints get coated and trimmed on three sides).
GP's optimus is the one I use for most weddings - lots of cover options, repositionable adhesive is an option to you can get things in straight, and 2 week turnaround from order till I have it.
Leather Craftsman can be affordable if you dont go nuts with options.
A cheap factory option if you can do a photo cover is from HH color lab, print and bind. Their leather cover books (same book, different cover) are pusing $400ish for print and bind.

What about KISS? Graphistudio can be a pain in the butt, from what I've heard, but I haven't used them yet. Spence uses them for his engagement albums and hasn't had too many problems. Anyway, check out KISS. I'm ordering my first album from them, as soon as the design is finished.
