in my humble opinion, to red almost overpowers her beautiful face.

The darkness under her eyes was something I couldn't find a good way to reduce. If anyone has a good tutorial I would be very interested in looking at it.

Yeah, I tried that and couldn't get it to come out not looking blotchy. Guess I just need to practice.

Try the patch tool on a new layer set to a lower opacity (40%).

Try the clone stamp tool, set to Lighten, opacity at around 25%, soft brush, sample the skin directly under the dark circle and paint over the circle. Make as many passes as you need to blend nicely.
