so I was searching the B&H site and some how I ended up looking at these Novoflex ball heads.
The basic classic 3 is $590 USD
I never know they make ball heads
so wondering just out of Curiosity if anyone owns one or has ever tried one.

I have used the Magic Ball for over six years without problems on a Manfrotto CF tripod
I also have the Novoflex quick release plate, I bought additional 'screws' to fit on all my lens and cameras - this is such a trouble free set up that I can't see that I would change
that said I have not tried other ball heads but this works for me
