Mine would probably have to be this shot I took of Dale Earnhardt Jr's burnout after winning his first race with his new team at the 2008 Budweiser shootout at Daytona.
I understand that this is a very controversial shot and i appreciate everyones opinion on the subject.
at the end of the day this picture has won me 2 different awards and the praise of the professors at Mizzou.
Paul and TIm - I respect your opinion and there are no hard feelings
Max - Thank you
I like that line "To each their own"
Everyone have a great holiday

Dann,
I've not completed this thread, but what I see so far, you need to relax.
You asked for feedback with the "tell me what you think" post.
You got it.
you apparently don't like it, and now come accross as extremely defensive.
Be careful what you ask for...you just might get it.
YOU have the emotional attachment to the photo. YOU know the story. The picture alone conveys nothing but a crying young boy, who appears to be hurt and the coach is helping him. A caption posted and this whole conversation would not have happened.
And FWIW, others do shoot these shots, but you don't see them here much because people don't tend to wnat to see them.
Ok, rant over. Everyone back to theri corners. I'm crawling back in my hole now.

thank you ... i appreciate you telling me that my photo is horrible and calling me out publically
AGAIN so everyone knows ... what i meant by "tell me what you think" was to go through my best of 2008 thread and tell me what you think my best shot was ...
please if anyone has anymore comments ... PM me ... im not some sadistic freak ...
Dann, first of all get over yourself. Nobody is mounting a personal attack here nor calling your photo horrible. I, as with others, just don't get it. As I also suggested a caption and none of this would even be wasting space.
You know as well as most here that nobody is going to go back through your threads any more than they like going out to a link with a bunch of pictures to pick one. your initial post didn't read like that was suggested either.
You have PM in response to your very juvenile PM to me as well.
Have a great day. This is the last time I'll respond here. This is also a great example of why I and many others rarely poke our heads out anymore. What a shame.
