Hello Lady_Bug Gurl Love the identity for you, Andy will have to work harder now to keep up
Three very different and expressive images. I see the first more as art form and an expression of freedom. The second shot is pristine and the lines of the subject flow nicely from tail to head and what a wonderful comp on this Hanh. The last shot evokes such a peaceful mood, although there is quite a bit in this image is does not come across as cluttered but keeps my eyes looking around and enjoying the whole image, the reflections are just an elegant part of this image, this is my favorite for those reasons and I would think when you remember this shot it is a peaceful feeling for you.
Beautiful work, Hanh. I like the clarity and the rich colors of your images. Detail are fine as well. I particularly like the second shot. Nice pose and tasteful composition.

If I had to choose, it would be your earlier post showing the series of the cormorant, pelican, and flatfish fight at Bolsa Chica--excellent photography and capture. I showed it to my marine biologist photographer friends and they were very impressed--lots of "wows."
For this set, Karl Witt expressed what I would say, too.
Best wishes,
John
Thanks, John. I'm very flattered. Actually, that earlier post belonged to Andy (my husband), and he'd like to thank you too.
To avoid that confusion in the future, I just had to get my own account (Lady_Bug).

Three cheers. The 3rd image is a standout for me (reflection, color comp). The first two "ain't" to shabby either. Hanh, welcome, keep 'em comin'.
I got to go with 2, I love the image, you had to work hard to get it and it is something I have always wanted to photograph but have yet had the opportunity.
Tim
Hi Tim,
Thank you for the welcome and the comment.
Yes, the Roadrunner is a difficult bird to photograph. Believe me, they DO run FAST.
Hanh
Hahn, these are gorgeous images. #2 was my initial favorite, but I'm fascinated with #3. There's something about this image that draws me in. Absolutely love it.
Oh I"m so glad you registered your self. I could never figure out if I was talking to Andy or you............. It was so confusing Kind of like RobAmy............ Is it Rob or is it Amy?

Hi everyone,
One of the photos I posted on this thread about 2 months ago has made it to Photo of the Week at Birder's World Magazine. Read about it here
Thank you for all your comments and for helping me make a choice to enter the photo for contest.
Hanh
Sorry KarlA.
I got an email from someone who claimed that I "fabricated" the story because she didn't see any mention about "POTW" at the top of this thread. I ended up having to start a new thread with the proper story AT THE BEGINNING.
Thanks so much my friend for all your support.
