On behalf of the San Diego County Sheriff's Canine Unit I would like to pass along our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Bailey.
Karl my friend,
I am so sorry to hear about Bailey and grieve with you for your loss. She really was a beautiful dog and a wonderful companion. I remember seeing her before in another post and that you also said then that she was with you all the time you were on FM. I know its not easy right now but I am sure she would want you to remember her at her best and your photos will help you to do so.
My sincere condolences,
Martin
Karl
As I walked home this afternoon from work my thoughts turned to own my best friend whom I lost just a few months ago when he was hit by a car. I feel your pain and understand your loss. Even now it is difficult to type these words. I have put his foto on my computer wallpaper to remind me of his friendship and love. He was such a good dog and so forgiving. He taught me a lot. I hope you too can find joy and happiness in the memories of happy days past. Gone but not certainly forgotten.
I am very sorry to hear about Bailey. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You have a whole FM family here to support you my friend. Take good care.

Karl.
I found my 9 year old Yorkie-dead in my closet, several months ago. We all feel the pain in passing of our pets, they bring so much to us-as we did for them. Your photos of him, arepriceless, as his memories or you, were to him.

Sorry for your loss. Murphy my rescue Scottie, kept guard over me for 3 years and 9 spinal surgeries. She died in January and I wept. Have 3 Scotties now but Murphy is still missed.
I hope you find happinesss in a Bailey brought to your life.
Sorry to hear about your beautiful friend Bailey. These dogs are something special, how they become a big part of our lives and when they leave the sadness is only offset by the memories.
so sorry for your loss Karl....I have been through this after I lost my Rottie of 14 years
and I have no good words of comfort, other than to dwell on the good memories and smile
knowing the joy you brought to one another.
It's tough to lose a friend like that. I very sorry to hear of your loss. She looks like a very beautiful dog. I bet that she had a great life with you.
Sadly, it's the price we humans have to pay for investing our love in an animal, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Karl, I am so sorry---Bailey is so beautiful. My heart aches with you.
I lost my Bill this year at age 15 --a one of a kind dog for me.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
I knew I could count on countless friends and new aquaintences here to reach out with great compassion, it has been helpful to read all of your comments of care. Thanks so much for taking a moment to share, it means alot to me and my wife as well as to my daughter who gifted this fine dog to me as a Christmas surprise 10 years ago
Many sympathies back to those that have endured these losses too, as I am sure you realize I share your pain and fond memories too
