Last weekend I received permission to take some photos at a Seattle blues club. Appearing that night was long time blues artist Terry Evans. It was a cold snowy night in Seattle; a perfect time to be indoors, listening to great music, drinking a couple of micro brews and testing the 58mm/1.2 Rokkor...
The Rokkor was the only lens I used and I left the flash equipment at home. Settings were ISO 1000 and all shots were taken at f/2. Most of the shutter speeds were around 1/20th or so. I had fun taking these shots, nothing too serious, just some quick clicks between sips of excellent beer etc.
Max,
Very nice images! Number 3 is my favorite.
I thought about using my Rokkors at Jazz Alley recently, but wasn't sure how MF would work out. I'll definitely give it a shot next time.
Were you using a 1d body?
