The color version of this is up at the WA but I think it also works well in a b & w conversion. A shot of a classic Japanese Go board and the white and black markers it is played with.
This is a beautiful shot, so I checked out the color version. While this is very nice in black/white, I have to admit that it misses the "umph" of the color shot. Those bowls have beautiful texture/design that doesn't get justice here.

Thanks so much! I am glad you like it and I must say, I agree wholeheartedly with you about the color version or I would have entered this version into the WA. The topic was "Black and White" and I figured that it would represent a lesser challenge to do a color shot of something that is inherently black and white, especially since I post my conversions over here with some frequency. Most of the other entries were B & W conversions so mine stands out a bit.
