It sickens me to see the price of the original 5D fall so hard. Not just because I have one and may need to sell it to fund the 1DsMK2 I just got but, sheeeesh, such a magical camera in so many ways.

Thats about a 30% drop since the mk2 was announced I think.

It is really sad to see the 5D sold this low, but I'm keeping an eye on the 1D III and in less then a year it has dropped close to 1K used of course.

I picked up a 1DMk2 for only $850 a few weeks ago.... Will pick up a used 5D once it breaks $750.

"Sad"?!?

For us mere hobbyists with not a lot of spare cash to throw around it's great. I never even considered going full frame before.... that might be changing now though.
